Product Description

Product Overview:

The XBC series diesel‑engine fire pump units are a new type of firefighting equipment developed by our company in strict compliance with the national standard GB 6245‑98 “Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Fire Pumps” and the National Fire Protection Association standard NFPA 20 “Installation of Centrifugal Fire Pumps,” among others. This product line is further divided into three sub‑series—XBC‑IS, XBC‑SLOW, and XBC‑D—based on the type of fire pump employed (single‑stage single‑suction, single‑stage double‑suction, or sectional multistage). With a broad range of pressure and flow rates, these units can meet the requirements of virtually all fire‑fighting applications.

All diesel engines equipped on these units are high‑quality domestic or imported models, featuring excellent starting performance, strong overload capacity, a compact design, convenient maintenance, simple operation, and a high degree of automation. They constitute advanced, reliably performing fire‑fighting equipment.

Conditions for normal equipment operation:

Altitude ≤ 1000 m; ambient temperature: +5°C to +40°C

Relative air humidity: ≤90%

Diesel‑engine fire‑pumping units can be integrated with electric pump sets, pressure‑maintaining pumps, and other components to form an automatic fire‑water supply system. The operating sequence is described in the “Diesel Engine Control System” section. The equipment can also be interconnected with the fire‑control center for coordinated operation.

Fire pumps can be supplied with water either by gravity‑fed (self‑priming) or by suction. In accordance with fire‑protection codes, the standard practice is the self‑priming method. If the user requires a suction‑type water supply system, this must be explicitly specified so that the company can provide an automatic vacuum priming device; however, the pump unit’s dimensions will be adjusted accordingly.

Operating parameters:

Altitude ≤ 1000 m; ambient temperature: +5°C to +40°C

Relative air humidity: ≤90%

Scope of Use:

The equipment is suitable for fire‑water supply in a wide range of applications, including warehouses, docks, airports, petrochemical facilities, power plants, liquefied gas terminals, textile mills, ships, and oil tankers.
