Product Description

Product Overview:

The XBD‑GDL series fire pumps are vertical, multistage, single-suction, volute‑type centrifugal pumps. These products are designed using advanced hydraulic models and optimized through computer‑aided analysis. They feature a compact, well‑thought‑out structure and an attractive appearance, with significantly improved reliability and efficiency. The pumps fully comply with the requirements of the new national standard GB 6245‑1998, “Performance Requirements and Test Methods for Fire Pumps.”

1. Low-noise, smooth operation

The use of low-noise bearings, the design of hydraulic components with precise hydraulic characteristics, and the water‑filled shrouds surrounding each segment not only reduce flow noise but also ensure exceptionally smooth operation.

2. Simple Installation and Assembly

When the pump’s inlet and outlet diameters are identical and aligned on the same straight line, it can be installed directly in the pipeline like a valve. By using a split‑case coupling, the connection between the pump and the motor is not only simplified but also enhances transmission efficiency.

3. No operational jamming occurs.

The use of copper‑alloy water‑guide bearings and stainless‑steel pump shafts eliminates the risk of corrosion‑induced seizing at all minute clearances, which is of critical importance for fire‑protection systems.

4. No leakage

It employs a high-quality mechanical seal to ensure a clean operating environment.

Operating parameters:

Flow rate 1–45 L/s

Pressure 0.3–2.5 MPa

Temperature below 80℃

Medium: Clear water and liquids similar to clear water

Rotation: Clockwise when viewed from the motor end.

Scope of Use:

The XBD-GDL series pumps are suitable for conveying clean water or liquids with physicochemical properties similar to water, provided they contain no solid particles and have a temperature not exceeding 130°C, as well as mildly corrosive liquids.

This series is primarily used for water supply in fixed fire‑protection systems—such as hydrant‑based extinguishing systems, automatic sprinkler systems, and water‑mist extinguishing systems—in both industrial and civil buildings.
