Overview of ISGB and IRGB Type Disassemblable Pipeline Pumps

The ISGB and IRGB modular, disassemblable pipeline centrifugal pumps are a newly designed, technologically advanced series that builds on the IS and ISG vertical pumps. Drawing on cutting-edge foreign technologies and leveraging the company’s many years of manufacturing expertise along with invaluable feedback from users, these pumps have been comprehensively developed to deliver superior performance compared to other similar products. This product line features a bold, innovative design: the pump shaft is supported by an independent bearing assembly, addressing the limitations of earlier ISG and ISW models that relied on motor bearings to support their extended shafts. The impeller and pump casing are engineered using state-of-the-art hydraulic modeling, effectively eliminating both axial and radial forces. As a result, the bearings at the pump shaft and the motor bearings experience only minimal axial and radial loads. The motor conforms to the Y‑series standard, and the entire pump adopts a modular, easy‑disassembly structure, resolving the inconvenience of replacing wear‑prone components such as bearings, mechanical seals, and impellers in high‑power pumps.

Application Scope of ISGB and IRGB Type Split-Case Pipeline Pumps

Depending on the operating environment—such as temperature and fluid characteristics—various derivative product lines can be developed from the ISGB and IRGB modular pipeline pumps, including hot‑water pipeline pumps, high‑temperature pipeline pumps, corrosive‑chemical pumps, and oil pumps. The ISGB and IRGB pumps are suitable for non‑corrosive cold and hot water in heating systems, domestic water supply, chilled‑water systems, and irrigation applications. These modular pipeline pumps offer advantages such as high efficiency, energy savings, low noise, and reliable performance.

Features of ISGB and IRGB Type Removable Pipeline Pumps

1. The pump features a vertical design, with inlet and outlet ports of the same diameter aligned on the same centerline, allowing it to be installed in piping systems just like a valve. It is equipped with mounting feet to enhance stability, boasts a compact and aesthetically pleasing appearance, occupies a small footprint, and requires low installation costs.

2. The shaft seal employs either a mechanical seal or a mechanical‑seal combination, featuring imported titanium‑alloy sealing rings, medium‑size high‑temperature‑resistant mechanical seals, and hard‑metal‑based wear‑resistant seals, thereby effectively extending the service life of the mechanical seal.

3. Depending on the application requirements—namely, the desired flow rate and head—the pumps can be operated in series or in parallel.

4. The pump may be installed vertically or horizontally, depending on the piping layout requirements.

Main applications of ISGB and IRGB type detachable pipeline pumps

1. The ISGB split-case pipeline pump is designed for conveying clean water and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to those of clean water. It is suitable for industrial and municipal water supply and drainage, pressurized water delivery in high-rise buildings, landscape irrigation, fire‑fighting pressure boosting, and equipment integration. Operating temperature: T ≤ 80°C.

2. The IRGB detachable‑type pipeline circulation pump is widely used for boosting and circulating high‑temperature hot water in boilers across industries such as energy, metallurgy, chemical processing, textiles, and papermaking, as well as in hotel and restaurant heating systems. The IRG model is suitable for temperatures up to T ≤ 120°C, while the GRG model is suitable for temperatures up to T ≤ 240°C.

Operating conditions of ISGB and IRGB type detachable pipeline pumps

1. The suction pressure shall not exceed 1.0 MPa, or the pump system’s maximum working pressure shall not exceed 1.6 MPa; that is, the sum of the pump suction inlet pressure and the pump head must be ≤ 1.6 MPa. The pump’s hydrostatic test pressure is 2.5 MPa. When placing your order, please specify the system’s working pressure. If the pump system’s working pressure exceeds 1.6 MPa, this should be indicated separately at the time of ordering so that cast steel materials can be used for the pump’s wetted parts and connecting components during manufacturing.

2. Ambient temperature < 40°C, relative humidity < 95%.

3. The volume fraction of solid particles in the conveyed medium shall not exceed 0.1% per unit volume, with a particle size less than 0.2 mm.

Note: If the process fluid contains fine particles, please specify this when placing your order so that the manufacturer can equip the pump with a wear‑resistant mechanical seal.
