ISG/KSL Vertical Centrifugal Pipeline Pump – Product Overview
The ISG/KSL series single-stage, single-suction vertical pipeline centrifugal pumps are second-generation, high-efficiency, energy-saving products designed by our company in accordance with the performance parameters specified in the international standard ISO 2858 and the national standard JB/T 6878.2-93, drawing on our many years of manufacturing experience. They are an ideal replacement for conventional pumps such as SG‑type pipeline centrifugal pumps, IS‑type centrifugal pumps, and D‑type multistage centrifugal pumps. The series offers a flow range of 1.5 to 1,600 m³/h and a head range of 5 to 150 m, available in various configurations including basic,分流 (diverting), and cutting‑type models. Depending on the medium and operating temperature, the wetted parts can be manufactured from different materials and with modified designs, resulting in pump types such as the IRG hot‑water pump, the IHG pipeline chemical pump, and the YG pipeline oil pump—each maintaining the same performance specifications. This ensures broad applicability and makes these pumps fully capable of replacing conventional centrifugal pumps in all applications.
Product Features of the ISG Vertical Centrifugal Pipeline Pump
1. The pump features a compact structure, small footprint, and an aesthetically pleasing appearance; its vertical design further minimizes the installation space required.
2. Easy to install: the inlet and outlet diameters are identical and aligned on the same centerline, eliminating the need to modify the piping.
3. The pump operates smoothly, with low noise and high component concentricity.
4. Reliable sealing with no leakage. The shaft seal employs a mechanical seal made of wear-resistant materials such as hard alloy and silicon carbide.
5. Convenient maintenance: No need to dismantle the piping—simply remove the pump cover nut and extract the motor and drive assembly for inspection and servicing.
6. Its unique structure and innovative design not only reduce the pump house footprint and optimize space utilization but also significantly lower capital construction costs.
Main applications of ISG vertical centrifugal pipeline pumps
1. The ISG vertical pipeline pump is designed for conveying clean water and other liquids with physicochemical properties similar to those of clean water, with a maximum operating medium temperature of 80°C. It is suitable for industrial and municipal water supply and drainage, pressurized water delivery in high-rise buildings, garden irrigation, fire‑fighting booster systems, long‑distance water transmission, heating, and circulating hot‑and‑cold water boosting in bathrooms, as well as for use as part of equipment packages.
2. The IRG vertical hot-water circulation pump is suitable for applications in the energy, metallurgical, wood-processing, chemical, textile, and paper industries, as well as for boiler‑side hot‑water boosting and circulation in hotels, bathhouses, and guesthouses, and for circulating water in urban heating systems. Its maximum operating temperature does not exceed 120°C.
3. The IHG vertical chemical centrifugal pump is suitable for pressurized conveying of corrosive media, with a maximum operating temperature of 80°C.
4. The YG-type vertical pipeline oil pump is designed for conveying petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuel, with a medium temperature range of –20°C to +120°C.
Operating conditions of the ISG/KSL vertical centrifugal pipeline pump
1. The suction pressure shall not exceed 1.0 MPa, or the pump system’s maximum working pressure shall not exceed 1.6 MPa; that is, the sum of the pump suction inlet pressure and the pump head shall not exceed 1.6 MPa. The pump’s hydrostatic test pressure is 2.5 MPa. When placing your order, please specify the system’s working pressure. If the pump system’s working pressure exceeds 1.6 MPa, this must be stated separately at the time of ordering so that cast steel materials can be used for the pump’s wetted parts and connecting components during manufacturing.
2 Ambient temperature < 40°C, relative humidity < 95%.
3. The volume fraction of solid particles in the conveyed medium shall not exceed 0.1% per unit volume, with a particle size less than 0.2 mm.
Note: If the process fluid contains fine particles, please specify this when placing your order so that the manufacturer can equip the pump with a wear‑resistant mechanical seal.
