Overview of D-Type Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps

This pump model is a single-suction, multistage, sectional centrifugal clear-water pump. It is suitable for water supply and drainage applications in mines, factories, and urban areas, designed to convey clear water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clear water, free of solid particles, abrasives, and suspended solids. The temperature of the conveyed liquid ranges from 0°C to 80°C, and the allowable inlet pressure is 0.6 MPa.

When the physicochemical properties of the conveyed liquid impose special requirements, the pump material may also be customized according to the user’s specific needs, ensuring compatibility between the pump and the physical‑chemical characteristics of the fluid being pumped.

Application Scope of D-Type Horizontal Multistage Centrifugal Pumps

Depending on the application, the D series can be divided into

D: Suitable for conveying clear water free of solid particles or liquids with physicochemical properties similar to those of clear water; the temperature of the conveyed medium ranges from 0 to +80°C; the pump suction inlet is horizontal, and the discharge outlet is vertically upward.

DM: Suitable for conveying liquids containing a small amount of solid particles, with physicochemical properties similar to those of clean water. The temperature of the conveyed medium ranges from 0 to +80°C, and the pump’s suction inlet is horizontal while the discharge outlet is vertically upward.

DG: Suitable for conveying clean water free of solid particles or fluids with physicochemical properties similar to those of clean water; the temperature of the conveyed medium ranges from –20°C to 150°C, and both the pump’s suction and discharge ports are oriented vertically upward.

DY: Suitable for conveying petroleum products free of solid particles or other liquids similar to water, with a medium temperature ranging from –20°C to +400°C; both the pump’s suction and discharge ports are oriented vertically upward.

DF: Suitable for conveying corrosive liquids free of solid particles, with a medium temperature range of –20°C to +150°C; both the pump’s suction and discharge ports are vertically upward.

All of the aforementioned pump types can be equipped with either mechanical seals or soft packing seals upon customer request (with packing seals as the standard configuration at the factory). The wetted parts may be made from cast iron, bronze, stainless steel, or ordinary carbon steel.
