FY Type Corrosion-Resistant Submersible Pump
The FY series submersible pumps are a new generation of pumps developed through refined design, building on the foundation of conventional corrosion‑resistant submersible pumps and incorporating advanced technologies from both domestic and international counterparts. These pumps eliminate the mechanical seals commonly used in other submersible models and feature a uniquely designed impeller, resulting in high efficiency, energy savings, zero leakage, and an exceptionally long service life. Consequently, they are widely employed in industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, metallurgy, and wastewater treatment. Submersible pumps also offer easy starting, leak‑free operation, a compact footprint, and convenient installation.

Product Description
Overview of FY-Type Submersible Pumps
The FY series submersible pumps are a new generation of pumps developed through refined design, building on the foundation of conventional corrosion‑resistant submersible pumps and incorporating advanced technologies from both domestic and international counterparts. These pumps eliminate the mechanical seals commonly used in other submersible models and feature a uniquely designed impeller, delivering high efficiency, energy savings, leak‑free operation, and an exceptionally long service life. As a result, they are widely employed in industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, metallurgy, and wastewater treatment. With their easy start‑up, zero leakage, compact footprint, and straightforward installation, these pumps are ideally suited for handling highly corrosive, hazardous, or extremely valuable liquids that must remain completely sealed, and they are particularly well‑suited for applications where installation within tanks or pits is required.
Features of the FY Type Submersible Pump
1. The pump is a vertical submersible pump with an aesthetically pleasing design, mounted directly on the storage vessel containing the fluid being conveyed, eliminating the need for additional floor space and thereby reducing capital construction costs.
2. The mechanical seal has been eliminated, resolving the issue of frequent maintenance required by other submersible pumps due to the wear of their mechanical seals, thereby reducing operating costs and improving operational efficiency.
3. It employs a unique centrifugal double-balanced impeller for conveying clean media free of solid particles, offering exceptionally low vibration and noise levels and high efficiency; it also features an open-type double-balanced impeller for handling dirty liquids containing solid particles and short fibers, ensuring smooth operation and preventing clogging.
Operating Conditions for FY-Type Submersible Pumps
1. The temperature of the conveyed medium is -20 to 140°C.
2. For pumps made of cast iron, the pH range of the process fluid is 5–9.
3. For pumps equipped with open impellers, the diameter of solid particles in the conveyed liquid should ideally not exceed 30% of the pump’s suction inlet diameter.
