Product Description
Product Overview of the XBD-GDL Vertical Single-Suction Multistage Pipeline Fire Pump:
Building on our existing vertical multistage pumps, this unit has developed a new generation of XBD pipeline‑type medium‑ and low‑pressure fire‑pump sets in accordance with the latest fire‑pump standards. This pump series meets all fire‑pump requirements in terms of performance, design, materials, and ancillary components. Thanks to an advanced hydraulic model, it boasts high efficiency and a broad performance range, while also offering the advantage of reduced footprint. Equipped with premium bearings and high‑quality motors, the pump delivers safer, more reliable operation with lower noise and minimal vibration. Its hydraulically balanced axial thrust—eliminating the need for a balance drum—ensures smoother running. Shaft sealing is available in both mechanical and gland‑packing configurations. Additionally, the pump features flanged inlet and outlet connections, high rotational speeds, and a lightweight construction.
Operating conditions for XBD-GDL vertical single-suction multistage pipeline fire pumps:
1. It can convey clean water or non-corrosive media with physicochemical properties similar to those of clean water, provided that the content of insoluble solids does not exceed 0.1%.
2. Medium temperature: -15°C to 120°C.
3. Maximum working pressure: ≤2.0 MPa, i.e., system pressure plus head loss ≤2.0 MPa.
4. Ambient temperature shall not exceed 40°C, and relative humidity shall be less than 95%.
Application scope of the XBD-GDL vertical single-suction multistage pipeline fire pump:
It is suitable for fire‑fighting water supply in a wide range of settings, including residential buildings, hotels, office towers, commercial complexes, factories, hospitals, and more.

Structural Description of the XBD-GDL Pipeline Fire Pump
1. This pump features a vertical, multi-stage, sectional design, with the inlet and outlet flanges aligned on the same axis. The impeller employs hydraulic balancing to counteract axial forces. A guide bearing is mounted at the lower end of the pump, and the shaft is rigidly coupled to the motor shaft via a split‑case coupling. The outer casing is made of stainless steel.
2. The shaft seal employs a mechanical seal.
3. The pump is driven by an electric motor; when viewed from the motor end, the pump rotates clockwise.
4. An exhaust valve (air vent) is installed at the pump outlet to ensure that all air inside the pump is completely discharged.
5. The impeller may be made of bronze to prevent seizing between the impeller and guide vanes after prolonged shutdowns.
